Lately I have been thinking a lot about relationships, including friendships. What a powerful bond you can form with people.
I love my husband. He is my best friend. I tell him everything and love spending time with him. He is so funny and I am grateful that he is mine. I appreciate the kind things he does for me including making me yummy food!!! And I love that he cares for our daughter with such sweet love and admiration.
Another relationship brought on by marriage was another family... I am grateful for the relationships and ties that I have with Tyler's family as well as my own. Family has come to mean so much to me this past year. I have learned that my sister-in-laws also share some of the things I like too (thank you pinterest!!) I have reconnected with a 3rd cousin who is an amazing single father and been an ear to listen for my sisters and mom and dad through different struggles they have experienced. I am grateful for my family relationships.
Now about friendships... I have had the opportunity to meet some amazing people along the path of my life. Whether for just weeks or months or even friendships that have lasted for years, those people have all influenced my life in one way or another. I am grateful for those people. I am grateful for those I call friends now and the effort they too put into our friendship... Thank you...
When Ty-Man and Super Mare joined forces one could only have speculated that they would still be kickin' butt and takin' names ten years later!! These are their adventures...

Thank you Tyler and Addison for making it a special birthday.

Finding Yourself...
Recently I have read on my sister-in-law's blog about her finding herself. And on another friend's blog about that same thing. It kind of had me thinking a bit about growing up and truly finding myself. I remember those horrible days in middle school and high school where every thing I did I seemed to get made fun of or it just wasn't the "cool" thing. As I went to college, I began to blossom and get out of my shell. I made some of the bestest friends ever at college who helped me gain a better understanding of the gospel and of life. I also attribute our move to Merced as another stepping stone to finding out who I am. I have a few wonderful friends who have stayed in touch who inspired me to always be the best I could be. Thank you to those that did help. But, back to finding myself... I have realized that although I may not be perfect, I know who I am and I know where I am going... Regardless of what others say or think, I am who I am... I love being a mom..I love people and I love being around people, I love holding craft nights and being creative... I love listening to my friends and hearing about their triumphs and strengths. I wish I would have figured out who I was and accepted myself for it sooner, but now that I do know, time to live it up and love life....

Jeepers Creepers!!!
Tyler LOVES his Jeep... On Friday, a buddy of his called and wanted to go up the mountain... Of course Tyler was game!!! Here are a few picks of him enjoying his time one on one with nature!!!!
Cooking again!!!
So, I had to take a few weeks off of working out because of some medical reasons. I am back on schedule though... Ha, plus, Addison was really sick last week and didn't let me sleep at all. I almost felt like she was a newborn again with her crazy sleep schedule... Ha. In my quest for a better, healthier me, I have decided that I want to cook more. I am limiting my eating out to just once a week. That is my "treat"... Any way, I made homemade meatloaf and a yummy chicken pasta over the weekend... It was so good, chicken slices, onions, olives, pasta and FETA cheese. I LOVE FETA cheese!!! Such a great blend of food... My meatloaf was probably the BEST I have ever made as well... So proud of my self... It is good to be cooking again. I figure I need to start again since Tyler will be leaving in a few months for a few months. I actually had him show me a few things yesterday in the kitchen. Thanks babe, glad you love what you do.

Being Accountable
I learned a long time ago that you have to be accountable for all of your actions. We all have choices and those choices have consequences, some good and some not. In my daily struggle to fight my weight problem, I have learned that I haven't been true to myself about being completely accountable for my eating. I have registered on Livestrong. Now I can track everything I eat, do and drink. I have this silly little goal to run a 5K. I know to some people this may sound weak or not quite the distance to obtain. I am not a runner, so I have set this goal to run this race in November. Thanksgiving time... This is a small goal which will hopefully allow me to obtain greater distances. My intial plan is to continue in my Jillian Michaels routines till about mid September then start running and continue my training.
